Flexible Computing was founded in 2008 by Mark Craddock an IT architect and flexible computing evangelist who has been responsible for the deployment of more than £1Bn worth of IT services and infrastructure for major organisations.
Flexible Computing is a South West based SME specialising in Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, systems integration, networking, built up over 21 years of IT service delivery.
Our consultants have a long history of developing security standards including contributions to the BS7799 working group and its development into ISO 2001. Member of the British Computer Society Chartered Engineer Eur Ing \ FEANI Contributor / presenter to the CRAMM computer communications special interest group, & security evaluation Common Criteria (ITSEC) work groups HMG security cleared and cited in the DGICS catalogue (Director General Information and Computer Systems).
Our technical and business experience is drawn from working on multi-million pound commercial collaborative engagements with some of the largest organisations in the world. Infrastructure work for retail and insurance were based on delivering services to over 40k users and over 100 distinct locations through a wide variety of hardware and software infrastructure.
Developed data centre strategy for local government department, which included writing the tender for data centre services / outsourcing. Taking into account existing service providers and requirements from the senior management team.
